Condor El Salvador Machete
The CONDOR TOOL & KNIFE company dates back to 1787, when the GERB WEYESBERG COMPANY was established in Solingen, Germany. Solingen quickly became the cutlery capital of the world due to the high quality of the swords, machetes, agricultural tools, military knives, and household cutlery they manufactured.
In 1964, the company formed IMACASA with a new plant in El Salvador which uses state of the art German equipment. Some of the local employees were sent to Solingen for extensive training and are still with the company forty years later, turning out fine quality machetes, and other hand tools.
